Leo, the highly anticipated action-thriller, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Thalapathy Vijay, made its grand theatrical debut on October 19, 2023. The much-hyped film was released in both Tamil and Telugu languages and received a grand reception on its release.
Despite mixed reviews, the third movie in LCU has grossed Rs 505+ Crore worldwide in the first week of its release, making it the fastest Tamil film to cross the Rs 500 Crore milestone in worldwide gross.

When will Leo stream on OTT?
The digital streaming rights of Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo are acquired by Netflix India for a whopping sum. As per the agreement with Netflix, Leo will make its OTT debut after four weeks of theatrical run. Since the makers wanted just a four-week gap between theatrical and digital release, Leo didn’t screen in four major multiplex chains in North where the gap between theatrical and OTT release should be at least eight weeks.
Leo OTT release date locked
As per the latest updates, Leo will make its OTT debut on Netflix on Nov 21, 2023. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. The official announcement is expected to be made soon.
Leo is the third movie in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe). The other two movies, Kathi (2019) and Vikram (2022) are streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
