Teja Kakumanu is an Indian actor and director who mainly works in Telugu movies. He made his debut with the blockbuster movie Baahubali in 2015 as Saketudu. Biography
Teja Kakumanu was born in Amaravathi, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. He attained a Master of Performing Arts degree from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University and during his time there, Teja studied acting and directing. After obtaining his degree, Teja began appearing in theatre shows, television series and movies in various languages such as Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.
After working in theatre shows, Teja got an opportunity to make a debut in the blockbuster movie Baahubali: The Beginning where he played the role of Saketudu in 2015. In the same year, he also served as associate director in the movie Bhale Manchi Roju. Since then, he has acted in several other movies, including Bheemla Nayak, Aakashavaani, Mukhachitram and Thanu Vachenanta. Teja has become a well-respected name in the South Indian film industry, impressing audiences with his wonderful acting chops and versatile roles.
In 2023, Teja grabbed headlines for playing a supporting actor role in Hotstar’s new Telugu series Save The Tigers.
