Collecting USD 1.40 million [Rs. 11.50 cr.] Satyaprem Ki Katha has emerged as Kartik’s second highest opening weekend grosser in the overseas markets. Though the film does not surpass the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 that had collected USD 2 million, the overseas business of Satyaprem Ki Katha does surpass his other releases like Luka Chuppi which collected USD 1.13 million, Love Aaj Kal which collected USD 1.10 million, Pati Patni Aur Woh which collected USD 0.967 million, Shehzada which collected USD 0.80 million, and even Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which collected USD 0.73 million.

Currently, Satyaprem Ki Katha continues to run in both the domestic and international markets. In fact, going by the prevalent trend trade predictions state that the business of the film will continue to see growth over its first week.
