Sana’s career as a model began in 2005 with Yehi Hai High Society, and soon garnered her acting offers from the South Indian film industry. She featured in acclaimed films such as Silambattam, Thambikku Indha Ooru and Gaganam. Her Bollywood debut came with Wajah Tum Ho, in which she starred opposite Sharman Joshi and Gurmeet Choudhary, although the movie failed at the box office, it proved significant in establishing her as a lead actress.
