The makers of the upcoming Hindi film 12th Fail, starring Vikrant Massey in the lead role, released the song titled ‘Restart‘ on Wednesday.
Composed by Shantanu Moitras with lyrics penned by Swanand Kirkire, the song is sung by Shaan with additional vocals by Swanand Kirkire and Shantanu Moitra. The visuals of the song show Vikrant’s character working hard to pass his examinations.
Earlier, the makers released the trailer and song titled ‘Bolo Na‘.
Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, 12th Fail is based on Anurag Pathak’s novel about the journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The film is also inspired by millions of true stories of students attempting the world’s toughest competitive exam – UPSC.
The film marks the return of Vidhu to the director’s chair after 2020’s Shikara. 12th Fail will be released worldwide on October 27 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
