3rd March 2023 – Mark the date as HISTORY is set to be created today. The film industry will have its biggest ever grosser get into the record books as Pathaan is set to eclipse Baahubali: The Conclusion in the Hindi version. The SS Rajamouli directed epic action drama had collected Rs. 511 crores in just the Hindi version back in 2017 to set an all-time record as no other film had even crossed the Rs. 400 crores mark, let aside reaching the Rs. 500 crores milestone. Now after almost 6 years, a Bollywood film is going to do that in style.

This is happening, courtesy a super consistent run that the film has been having even after it made rapid strides to reach Rs. 450 crores. It’s always difficult to keep collecting after such a bullish run but the Siddharth Anand directed action thriller has stayed very consistent from Rs. 450 to Rs. 500 crores and then even beyond. Especially stable is the current week which has seen over Rs. 0.70 crores on a daily basis and that was the case yesterday as well when Rs. 0.70 crores* were accumulated. Considering the fact the ticket rates are also quite low currently, the footfalls are much higher than what the collections may suggest in a standalone manner.

As a result, the film has collected Rs. 528.82 crores* overall if one includes all languages. What’s particularly impressive are the Hindi numbers that stand at Rs. 510.60 crores*. As a result the Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone starrer is less than Rs. 50 lakhs away from the magic number of Rs. 511 crores and that milestone would be accomplished by evening. There is no new release this weekend and the YRF film will have an open run for five more days before Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar arrives on Wednesday, 8th March.
