Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release Jawan was expected to create a strong impact at the box office before its release. But ever since it has hit theatres on September 7, it has been doing more than that. The movie, which is directed by the well-known Tamil filmmaker Atlee Kumar, has just become the first Hindi film to reach the Rs. 200 Crores Club in just 3 days, by breaking the record of SRK’s last release Pathaan, which took four days to reach that score.

And as expected, the movie is going great guns at the box office even today on its fourth day. As per latest update, Jawan has earned a total of Rs. 22.80 crores in the two major multiplex chains of India till 11:45 am today. To break up the figure, the film has made Rs. 18.15 crores in PVR Inox and Rs. 4.65 crores in Cinepolis.

Jawan had made Rs. 29.96 crores, Rs. 22.75 crores and Rs. 32.50 crores in the first three days in the aforementioned two multiplex chains. Hence, with Rs. 22.80 crores already in its kitty by 11:45 am today, it looks like the film will score higher than what it did yesterday in these two chains (Rs. 32.50 crores).

One might take note that these are the numbers only in PVR Inox and Cinepolis chains of multiplexes and it doesn’t contain numbers from other multiplex chains and single screen theatres of India.

Produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles.
