Aashim Gulati, who was recently seen as Salim in ZEE5 series, Taj: Divided By Blood, is set to feature in Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming series, Jee Karda. Apart from Aashim, the show stars Tamannaah, Suhail Nayyar, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee, and Samvedna Suwalka.
In the series, Aashim will be seen playing the role of Arjun Gill, a free-spirited singer-rapper. “I have a connection with music,” he says, while talking about the character. “I genuinely believe, if I wasn’t an actor, I would be a singer. I have lived my dream of becoming a singer through Arjun Gill.”
Directed by Arunima Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Jee Karda is co-written by Hussain Dalal, Arunima Sharma and Abbas Dalal. It will premiere on June 15 on Prime Video.
