Dunki Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan starrer crosses the Rs. 400 cr mark at the worldwide box office :Bollywood Box Office

The Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani released on December 21 to a highly positive response from the audience and critics. Given this reception at theatres, and the hype surrounding the film, Dunki opened on a good note. Following this, with the Christmas festivities in full blast the business of the film saw immense growth over its opening weekend.

Now, after nearly two weeks at the box office Dunki has managed to cross the Rs. 400 cr mark at the worldwide box office. Collecting Rs. 231.51 cr gross from the domestic market and a further Rs. 178.37 cr gross from the overseas markets, Dunki has managed to rake in Rs. 409.88 cr since its release. This massive collection is currently being attributed not only to the film but also to Shah Rukh Khan’s massive global fan, following that has quite literally driven the business.

Going forward, Dunki that still continues to draw in the audience is expected to see its business grow even further. Based on current trends, trade predictions state that the collections of Dunki are likely to see a spike over the coming weekend. In fact, expectations are that the business of the film will close the gap to the Rs. 450 cr mark by the end of the weekend.
