Team Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 can well rejoice. They are off to a spectacular start at the box office. The film was always meant to be a Diwali release and the best part is that they didn’t budge from their stance, despite Singham Again announcing their plans for the biggest festival of India. It was about who blinks first and with both the films looking at audiences wide eyed, Bollywood fans are set to give them a huge reception as well.
In that sense, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been the biggest benefactor because when an underdog rises, then it’s celebrated the most. Kartik Aaryan is a star moving to be a superstar and when he is taking on a slew of superstars here with his horror comedy then it only demonstrates the kind of trust and confidence that the makers (Bhushan Kumar, Anees Bazmee), distributors and exhibitors have in him. The film is aiming for an opening day number of Rs. 30 crores and that will set it up very well for the rest of the weekend.
