The second last week of 2023 saw an epic box office clash between Rajkumar Hirani’s Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki and Prashanth Neel’s action-drama Salaar, which starred Prabhas in the lead. But the same week on December 21 also saw the release of the Hollywood flick Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom. Directed by James Wan, the movie starred Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman among others.

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom Box Office: Jason Momoa starrer collects Rs. 5.27 crores in week 2

The sci-fi fantasy movie recently completed its second week at the India box office and it collected Rs. 5.27 crores in that period. The film had a decent opening of Rs. 4.50 crores despite the release of two Indian heavyweights. However, it saw a drop in numbers from the second day onwards and never recovered. In fact, after the opening day, the movie never even touched the score of Rs. 3 crores on any of the days. The lack of visibility because of Dunki and Salaar was a bit too much for the film.

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom finished its first week at the score of Rs. 17.02 crores. As expected, the film could earn only Rs. 5.27 crores in its week two, which got over day before yesterday. The India collection of the movie so far is Rs. 22.29 crores. There are no big Hindi films slated for release till Fighter arrives on January 25.
