Actor Allu Arjun on Friday said he was blown away by the “cinematic brilliance” of Animal and praised leading man Ranbir Kapoor for his inspiring performance in the action drama.
Fronted by Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film was released on December 1 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
The film crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the worldwide gross box office, the makers said on Thursday.
Production house T-Series shared the collection update of Animal on X, stating that the film has earned Rs 527.6 crore within six days of its release.
In a lengthy post on X, Arjun congratulated the cast and crew of Animal, describing the movie as one to have joined “the classics of Indian Cinema List”.
Stating that Ranbir created nothing short of magic on the silver screen, Allu wrote, “Ranbir Kapoor ji just took Indian cinema performances to a whole new level. Very Inspiring. I am truly in loss of words to explain the magic you’ve created. My deep Respect to the highest level.” He was also in awe of his Pushpa co-star, Rashmika, writing, “Rashmika. Brilliant & Magnetic! Dear this is your best performance by far & much more to unfold.”
Praising Triptii Dimri’s performance, he wrote, “This young lady Tripti is breaking hearts. May you break more!” He also went on to say Bobby’s presence ‘commands respect,’ writing, “Bobby ji’s impactful performance silences us. Your Terrific presence commands respect,” and adding that Anil was ‘effortless and intense.’ “Your experience speaks volumes sir,” he wrote.
He also commended Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his work and wrote, “Sandeep garu. Just Mind Blowing. You have exceeded all cinematic limitations, The intensity is unmatchable. You made us all proud once again. I can clearly see how your films are going to change the face of Indian cinema now and in the future!”
Apart from Ranbir, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles.
