Yet another day, and Adipurush (Hindi version) is keeping its flag high at the box office. After bringing in Rs. 37.25 crores on its opening day, the film has now brought in massive moolah on the second day as well, what with Rs. 38 crores* more coming in. Of course, one would have expected the numbers to see a much bigger increase on its second day. However, what has to be also taken into consideration is that this is a non-holiday weekend and since the very first day has excelled expectations by Rs. 10-12 crores, there has to be sustainability over aggression that will come in hereafter.

Adipurush (Hindi) Box Office Day 2: Prabhas starrer earns massive on Saturday

The epic drama has now reached Rs. 75.25 crores* and that’s more than the lifetime of over 90% of biggies that have released in last 20 months post-pandemic. Yes, the budget of the film is quite huge as well, though in absence of any official statement from the producers, it’s all speculation. That said, one can’t deny the fact that this is one of the most expensive films to have come out of India and hence it does warrant huge moolah at the box office.

The film is of course helped by the fact that it has an almost equal moolah coming from the south versions as well and that’s ensuring multiplication of box office returns at a rapid pace. This will also ensure huge moolah from ticket sales by the time the first weekend is through. Coming days are going to be really exciting for the Hindi film industry and it has to be seen how much further does Adipurush go from here.
