Filmmaker Prashanth Varma’s HANUMAN is a superhero saga with elements from Indian mythology and it features a battle between good and evil. The story takes place in today’s times and it revolves around a young man named Hanumanth (Teja Sajja). He is kind-hearted and strong and he firmly believes in… standing up for the oppressed. He receives superpowers from Lord Hanuman, whom he ardently worships. This makes him even stronger and determined to rise against wrongdoers. But he is not aware that somewhere a man named Michael (Vinay Rai) has similar powers as Hanumanth. But he is evil and he wants to use those powers to create havoc in the world and become its ruler. He ensures that Hanumanth and the rest of the world are faced with the evilest threat ever. Whether Hanumanth succeeds in defeating Michael forms the rest of the film.
