Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s reimagination of Indian Cinema, the Ranbir Kapoor-led Animal, is scaling new heights at the box office and continues with its dream run. According to early estimates, Animal has collected in the range of Rs. 39 to 40 crores on its fourth day in India, taking the total collections to approx. Rs. 241 crores. The film has scored an ALL-TIME BIGGEST Non-Holiday Monday for a Hindi film topping the previous best, Gadar 2 (Rs. 38.7 cr.).

Gadar 2 had benefited in the night shows due to the Independence Day holiday on Tuesday, and for Animal, it’s a pure non-holiday for business. The film has become a rage among the audience and is not looking to stop anytime soon. The phenomenal business for Animal has come in from both multiplexes and single screens. The youth and masses are driving the business for this Ranbir Kapoor film as the A-rating has kept the children and family audience away.

On the organic chatter front in the audience, Animal is the most spoken about and hyped film for the year, and the polarised response among the media houses and audience section is just creating more curiosity to consume the content on the big screen. The film is headed towards Rs. 300 crores in the opening week and it’s going to be the second-week trend that will consolidate its chances to enter the Rs. 500 crore club.

To give a breakdown of day four business, Animal has clocked Rs. 36.50 crore in Hindi and Rs. 3.50 crore in Telugu and Tamil dubbed. These numbers have come despite an A-Rating, Long Runtime, and clash, which makes the feat even bigger than what it looks like.
