After collecting Rs. 63.80 crores on the first day, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed Animal is continuing to operate in rampage mode at the box office in India. According to early estimates, the Ranbir Kapoor film has collected in the range of Rs. 67 to 69 crores on the second day, taking the two-day total to Rs. 131.80 crores.
While the business in the Hindi version has gone up from Rs. 54.75 crores to Rs 60 crores, the Telugu version has come down from Rs. 9.05 crore to Rs. 7.50 crores. The All India of Animal stands at a humongous position and the movie is all set to enter the Rs. 200 crore club in just 3 days, scoring a new record for feature films in Hindi.
At the moment, Animal is even faring better than the SRK-led Jawan and the film has a shot at scoring an ALL-TIME RECORD in the opening weekend. The business has gone up by 13 percent across the top three national chains, whereas the single screens were more or less flat.
The business will see a spike on Sunday and the first weekend in Hindi alone is expected to be around Rs. 180 crores, as the trends suggest Sunday collection to be in the range of Rs. 65 to 70 crores. The film is already a super hit in 2 days alone and will become a blockbuster by the end of the first week.
These numbers are coming with an A-Rating and clash scenario, and a solo release would have put the film at the #1 spot on the opening weekend as also the opening day.
