Leo [Hindi] is now fairly settled, albeit on the lower side, with collections continuing to play in that Rs. 1-2 crores range on a daily basis. While Friday saw Rs. 1 crore coming in, Saturday and Sunday saw further increase in collections, as a result of which the second weekend stood at Rs. 4.50 crores*. In fact, it could have well touched the Rs. 5 crores mark as well but then there was this big cricket match between India and England on Sunday, as a result of which the growth was limited.

The film has now crossed the Rs. 20 crores mark and is progressing well towards Rs. 25 crores milestone. Currently standing at Rs. 22.50 crores*, the film should now stay consistent during the weekdays as well due to lack of any competition whatsoever. In fact, it’s very much possible that the milestone is accomplished by the close of second week itself. Once that happens, then to gather at least Rs. 5 crores more in its lifetime won’t be challenging since there is no new notable release on the coming Friday.

Of course, this is also pre-Diwali season and traditionally it’s the dullest ever for any film. People are busy with festivities and ever since COVID 19 went away last year, there has been a lot of fervour with which the celebrations are on. This year, things should turn out to be even bigger and hence all fireworks can be expected only from November 12 onwards once Tiger 3 arrives.

*Estimates. Final numbers awaited
