Chattan tells the story of an honest cop against a group of baddies. The movie is based in the year 1990 in Devpur, Madhya Pradesh. It revolves around the honest and upright police officer Ranjit Singh (Jeet Upendra). Apart from these qualities, he also possesses fearlessness and immense strength, especially… when it comes to dealing with criminal elements. He stays with his wife Rajni (Rajanika), who, although a homemaker, is ready to take up weapons if need be. Ranjit is pitted against the underworld don Munna (Tej Sapru), who has an army of men working under him. He is determined to end Munna’s mafia activities but he faces immense opposition for the same. But Ranjit isn’t the one to give up so easily. Whether he succeeds in winning against evil forms the rest of the story.
