Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has gone berserk on its third day as the collections have seen a 40 percent spike on Saturday. According to early estimates, Jawan has collected in the range of Rs. 66 to 68 crores on its third day taking the three-day total to Rs. 175 crores. The film has matched the first-day collection on its third day and that too despite the opening being at record level.

This isn’t a usual trend and indicates something special as far as the box office carnival, in the long run, is concerned. Be it the national chains or the mass belts, Jawan ran to full houses across the board, putting up one of the biggest single-day total of all time. On Sunday, it will surpass the 26th January total of Pathaan, and have the biggest single-day total of all time in its name.

The three-day collections are Rs. 175 crores and the Atlee directorial will be looking to score around Rs. 70 crores on Sunday, taking the total four-day weekend to Rs. 275 crores. The national chains on Saturday were higher than the opening day, whereas the mass belts saw a nominal dip.

Jawan has set itself up very well to explode and emerge as an all-time grosser in the long run by surpassing the collections of Pathaan, Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion and Gadar 2. It’s Shah Rukh Khan’s era, and everyone is just seeing mass hysteria at the box office with SRK in an avatar like never before.
