The Vin Diesel Franchise, Fast X, has shown a very good hold at the box office in India on its second day. According to early estimates, Fast X has collected in the range of Rs. 12 to 13 crores on its second day, taking the two-day total to Rs. 24.75 crores. The entire industry was expecting a drop in collections as day two was a working day, but the film has managed to surprise with a stronghold in collections.

The national chains are more or less at the same levels as Thursday as early numbers have indicated the three chains scoring approx Rs. 6.75 crores on the second day as compared to Rs. 6.91 crores on the opening day. The film has performed better than other Hollywood films in the Hindi circuits.

Fast and Furious is among the earliest Hollywood films to have left a mark in India and the same has resulted in some sort of fan following in the mass belts. The English original version aside, Fast X is doing good business in the Hindi dubbed versions too, especially in the single screens of tier 2 and 3 centers.

The film is an outlandish action film on the face of it, though, the emotions are pretty rooted and universal. The film’s core conflict is that of a family, and this has resonated with Indian audiences in mass belts.
