Chintan often visits Vaidehi in Shimla, something which her husband is not comfortable with. To put an end to it, Singh plans to get rid of Chintan in an accident. However, Kapoor survives it and in the fear of being caught, DIG Singh asks his wife Vaidehi to request Chintan to forgive him. While Vaidehi abides to her husband’s request, in return, she asks him for a promise which is to let Diya lead her life. Chintan agrees to forgive Singh and also records his confession as evidence for future. However, fed up with her husband’s behaviour, Vaidehi walks out on him.
