I would love to do a zombie movie- Cinema express




Actor Viola Davis has a legacy of her own in the Hollywood film industry. The actor has recently secured the coveted EGOT status after a Grammy win for her memoir Finding Me. The actor was recently honoured at the 48th Annual Chaplin Gala, and during the event, the actor revealed that she wanted to do a zombie film, 

In an interview with  IndieWire, the Women King actor revealed her wish to be seen in a zombie film like Train to Busan,” A lot of things I haven’t done in my career. Listen, I would love to do a zombie movie,” Davis said. “Now I say that, in shooting it, I don’t know if I can distinguish between the real and the fiction because if someone was running at me as a zombie, I don’t know. You might hear some stories. But I want a ‘Train to Busan.’ I want my version of Train to Busan. I want to fight some zombies. That’s what I want to do.” 

Train to Busan is a 2016 South Korean action horror film directed by Yeon Sang-ho. The film mostly takes place on a high-speed train from Seoul to Busan as a zombie apocalypse suddenly breaks out in the country and threatens the safety of the passengers. The film set a record as the first Korean film of 2016 to break the audience record of over 10 million theatregoers.

Meryl Streep and Jessica Chastain were also in attendance at the 48th Annual Chaplin Gala to fete Viola Davis.
